Berlin: S. Cohn, 1896. 465pp. Printed in two columns in an oblong format. The cover bears the legend "Lexikon. Kleinstes Buch der Welt" (Encyclopedia, smallest book in the world) in gilt. Bound in dark blue leather. Except for a faint chip to top of spine, this is a fine copy with its original tin locket. A copy of the Konversations-Lexikon was the first miniature book owned by Louis Bondy, the collector, writer, and bookseller who was responsible for heightening interest in miniature books.
