Illustrated with thirteen woodcuts from the fifteenth century detailing everyday life, each hand colored by Sheppard. The text and arrangement is based on the earliest printed almanac, published in 1493. Extremely fine in brown morocco, stamped in gilt and blind with celestial symbols. T.e.g. Brass fore-edge clasp.
