Two octavo volumes. 341 pp. + (vi) pp. of advertisements; xii, 283 pp. First edition, first issue of volume I, with the single address on title-page; and the first English edition of volume II, bound with the half-title but without the ads. Tipped-in to Volume I is an ALs by Lamb, postmarked Sept. 25, 1828. Bound in full dark green morocco by Wood of London, with floral decorations in gilt to the corners of all covers. Spines richly gilt in six compartments, and with gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers. Toning to spines, else a very fine set housed in a green cloth slipcase. T.e.g. Bookplates. (Roff 149, 185).
