Baltimore: Xavier Press, 1988. 17pp. One of 175 copies, signed by the printer, Francis X. Harridan. A speech given by Mark Twain in 1886 to commemorate Benjamin Franklin's birthday. With a reproduction of the 1940 U.S. Postage stamp honoring Twain tipped in as a frontispiece. Two pieces of type of the sort used by Twain when he was a printer are housed in a pocket inside the rear cover. Residue from removed bookplate inside front cover, otherwise fine in gilt-stamped brown cloth. (Bradbury, p. 327). (2 1/2 by 2; 63x50mm). Item #29113
