Hawaii: 1983. Folio. From an edition of 95 copies, this is one of twelve copies containing 35 samples. Two specimens were never recovered, and therefore never included in the edition. Includes tapa samples from the Hawaiian Islands, Fiji, Futuna, Marquesas, Mangreva, Tahiti, Samoa, et al. Each sample is identified and housed in its own paper folder. Text by D.R. Severson, including an inventory checklist, all printed by Andrew Hoyem. Small abrasion to spine, bump to upper chemise panel, else fine in a portfolio of quarter morocco and boards, gilt-titling on spine. Announcement and author's handling instructions laid in (with a packet of heat tissue adhesive, and with one of the two white cotton gloves). Successor and companion volume to Specimens of Hawaiian Tapa. Item #30099
