With engraved half-title and five plates, the finely executed illustrations depict scenes from the life of Christ. The prayers are arranged for special occasions: morning prayers, evening prayer, and prayers for communion and vespers. This tiny book for children was very popular and issued over a long period of time in a variety of printings and bindings. Text in Latin. This copy is in red paper, with ornamental borders in gilt.
