A catalogue of stained-glass designs issued by a glass works company, featuring full-page plates chromolithographed in rich, vibrant colors. According to the book's brief introduction, the designs by Sebastian Evans were "intended as a simple and practical guide to those who require Ornamental Glass for the purpose of Church Decoration." Some of the designs are copies or modifications of traditional examples, others original. They range from borders and fillets to full-window decorations that incorporate images of St. John, the Last Supper, and other Christian iconography. Bound in publisher's full gray cloth richly decorated and lettered in gilt on upper board, with a smaller gilt decoration to the rear board. Colored endpapers.
