Illustrated with twenty woodcuts, four of which are printed in two colors, engraved by Smith College students Judith Gustafson, Margaretta Kuhlthau, Gillian Lewis, and Mary Alice Taylor. Presentation inscription from Margaretta "Sis" Kuhlthau to Elaine Wallace, whose bookplate is on the front paste-down. Bound in blue paper-covered boards with front title label. Fading and light wear to edges, small chip to label, and dampstain to top of spine and to bottom of first two and last three leaves. Overall very good. A rare early Apiary Press book, with only four copies in institutional collections. Item #26708
