Each image depicts Swiss citizens in traditional garb and at work or leisure characteristic to their canton; two cantons, Valais and Tessin, share an illustration. Date derived from the year in which the Swiss constitution unified the various states into a single federal body. Tipped in to chemise with purple covers, housed in matching slipcase. Cover of volume, which features the coats of arms for the cantons as a border, pasted to slipcase. Some edgewear to chemise and slipcase, else fine. Item #29683
