The prints have been hand-touched with watercolor and are individually enclosed in over-beaten abaca paper folios on which twelve poems written by Heebner have been letterpress printed by Inge Bruggeman. The result is poetic topography, in which the reader encounters an impressionistic Icelandic landscape while grounded in verses describing locations like Vik, Skáldareitur, and Landmannalaugar. It presents a fragile, multidimensional journey that inducts the reader into his or her own Icelandic mythology. Folios held in a Kyoseishi and Kozo paper chemise, within a plexiglass slipcase. Mint.
