In Sight of Blue Mounds.

Lanyon, Ellen (illus.)

Mt. Horeb, WI: Perishable Press, 1972. Oblong octavo. 22ff. One of 125 copies. Inscribed by Hamady to Ed Gulesserian, and with a TLS laid in from Hamady to John Scheffler, explaining his connection to Gulesserian and remarking upon Scheffler's long career as a typesetter. The unbound leaves of the book differ subtly in color, depending upon the "old towels, ties, jeans, shirts etc." used in the handmade paper. Nature, farming, and the skies of Wisconsin are the subjects of Hamady's free verse. Loose, as issued, in half cloth, half marbled-paper boards, and cloth slipcase. Some foxing to interior of boards, else fine. Item #30163
