Illustrated with four dramatic two-page colored intaglio prints by Cox, showing Victorian death scenes, two of them somewhat surrealist in influence. Cox's poems offer a modern twist on sentimental and macabre Victorian themes. Text printed by John Craig at his Ten Bells Press, all else done by Cox. Scant exterior rubbing, else fine in mauve boards illustrated with an ornate tomb memorial. Item #30272
