(Portland, OR: Chamberlain Press, 1980-85). A collection of 105 engravings, all signed and numbered in pencil by Sarah Chamberlain. These hail from her major publications printed in the early 1980s via the Chamberlain Press: The Pied Piper of Hamelin (1979), A Frog He Would A-Wooing Go (1981), Beasts from Belloc (1982), Alphabetarium (1982), The Three Bears (1983), Aesop's Fables (1984), and Stone Soup (1986). In each, Chamberlain adapted her whimsical and precise style to suit the quirks of the story; thus, Beasts from Belloc espouses a childlike curiosity and fantasy fitting for its titular animals, while Stone Soup portrays its characters with the personality and pastoralism appropriate for the parable.
