Original protest art: Man Pointing.
1971. An original illustration capturing a moment of protest by the black community. A Black man is depicted pointing, with a posture that suggests purpose and urgency. The illustration is finely executed in mixed media, including tempera, watercolor, conté crayon, pen, and ink over graphite on board. Dated with "AMR" as copyright. "AMR" refers to Applied Management Research, who commissioned the illustration, perhaps for marketing purposes. Chips to edges of boards, and corners somewhat rubbed. Near fine. Framed. (20 by 24 in.). Item #30497
