Glasgow: David Bryce & Son, (c. 1900). 64mo. 512pp. Engraved frontispiece shows the Burns monument and the new Brig O'Doon, located in Ayr, Scotland. A complete anthology of Burns' poetry, a testament to his legacy among the Scots. This copy bound by G. T. Bagguley, and later finished by Thomas E. Caley, in full teal morocco with a gilt thistle design to covers and spine. The turn-ins continue the motif, which borders marbled endpapers. A fine copy, housed in a custom morocco slipcase, from which a small section at the top of the spine is missing. A.e.g. Laid in is a note from Caley, presenting the copy in 1919 to "E. M. B.," possibly one of Bagguley's siblings. Item #30598
