"A brother is to help you; a principal is to take out splinters; a rock is when you trip over it you should have watched where you were going," and other definitions provide a look into the world of happy children. Ruth Krauss took her text from real nursery schoolers and kindergarteners. Bound in pictorial board backed in cloth, showing some edgewear, and in original pictorial dust wrapper, which shows light soil and very light wear to extremities.
