The photographs were taken between 1984-87 at different seasons in Toronto in the area south of Finch and east of Bayview along the Don River valley. Title page, colophon, and text for the various poems facing some plates printed letterpress at the Barbarian Press. This is the first published work by Townend, who studied with Eliot Porter, and considers him to have significantly shaped the scopy of his work. Bound in quarter linen cloth and olive paper over boards with small blindstamped map on upper cover; paper spine label. Overall, a fine copy of an uncommon book, known only in one institutional holding. Item #31207
