Illustrated with seventeen linecut monoprints, appearing as rubbings or mottled silhouettes of leaves, buds, and tree branches, and printed over hand-colored backgrounds of blue and green on the volume's seven sheets of heavily textured brown Japanese paper. Folded in thirds and bound with a Brazilian rosewood spine. Housed in a wooden box with printed illustration on lid and wrapped in two linen ties. Very fine. Item #31472
