Berkeley, CA: Flying Fish Press, 1990. Innovative both in design and text, this book explores the idioms associated with "home" related words, e.g. house, home, wall, grass, and rug. The text pages are interspersed with half-size pages that match up exactly to change the illustration or text on the full-size pages. The linocuts by O'Banion are printed in colors and many of them fold-out. The book is printed in a dos-a-dos format, the rear being Domestic Science: Pop-up Icons, which is composed solely of pop-out illustrations. An innovative book, characteristic of Chen and her press.
