Poestenkill, NY: Edition Kaldewey, 1987. Oblong small quarto. (18)pp. One of forty-five regular copies. Signed by John Ashbery and Jonathan Lasker. Three original drawings by Lasker capture his real-time reactions of Ashbery's poem (and, presumably, the act of repetition with variation throughout an entire edition). Printed and executed on handmade paper, "Poestenkill leaves," which incorporates petals from Kaldewey's garden. The colophon claims that the deluxe edition would be bound by Jean de Gonet, but such was never completed. As with the rest of the regular edition, this book bound in black paper over boards, with relief impressions after a design by Lasker on both covers. Fine, in chemise and slipcase. Item #31565
(von Lucius, pp. 176-179).
