A faithful reproduction of Spenser's cycle of eclogues, heralding both the agrarian bliss of the turning of the year and the literary achievements of British private presswork in the early twentieth century. Designed by George W. Jones. Bound in quarter vellum with pale raw silk over boards. Some soiling and wear to corners, else near fine in rare original wrapper, which is stained and has few tears at extremities, with some biopredation to base of spine and lower jacket flap fold.
