The accompanying tale provides both suspenseful and moralistic overtures to keep the young reader hooked. Bound in gray wrappers, which identify the book as "Second Series. - No. 9" offered by the publisher, advertising for whom appears on the rear panel. Trace staining, else a fine copy.
