In this installment in St. Dominic's series of welfare handbooks, the compiler has selected passages from the New Testament that describe the punishments due to sinners of various types (the titular "woes" have nothing to do with personal sadness or bad luck, and everything to do with a wrongdoer's remorse). Bound in buff wrappers with titling in black. Minimal edge rubs, faint outer toning, else near fine. This copy inscribed by Joseph Cribb, who studied sculpting under Gill. Item #32012
